Linda Faulkner grew up in Massachusetts, where most of her family still lives. She left college to work in the insurance industry and, with 11 years of experience under her belt, founded her first insurance agency in 1985. She became an insurance instructor in 1997, when she joined the faculties of the National Alliance of Insurance Education and Research and Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents.
She and her husband, Stephen, decided to move west in their contemporary version of the covered wagon in 2003. Linda founded two new businesses in Missoula: Linda Faulkner Insurance Agency--a representative of the Farmers Insurance Group and Faulkner Education Services--writing and teaching educational seminars and workshops for the insurance industry in Montana. Linda also performs a variety of business training and consulting, including career development workshops and public speaking.
Linda is currently Chair of MBN's Business Referral Sub-Network, Co-Chair of Business Networking Group #1 of the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, and a board member of the Missoula Safe Kids Safe Community Coalition.
